The tips and recommendations listed here are based on educated opinions from PTR raid testing and reviewing logs and videos, so strategies can change as we develop a better understanding of each fight or as the spec and bosses are tuned. Miscellaneous Tips

• GCDs spent on healing and utilities are GCDs not spent on damage, but both are necessary to down a raid boss. Find the balance to optimize your contributions to your raid team.

• Maintain Earth Shield on one ally if both Elemental Orbit and Therazane’s Resilience are talented.

• Time spent in Ghost Wolf is time spent not doing damage. Practice proactive movement and utilize Spiritwalker’s Grace, Gust of Wind and instant casts as much as you can for movement heavy encounters.

• Planning and using Earth Elemental on a particular phase can alleviate difficult parts of a fight by increasing your maximum health by an additional 15% if Primordial Bond is talented.

• Volunteering for interrupt assignments can be especially beneficial considering Windveil provides a noticeable amount of damage reduction while Inundate grants additional resources.

• Remember to buy Gateway Control Shard. It will allow you to use Demonic Gateway easily.

• Focus down adds while they are present but especially Abyssal Voidshapers and Abyssal Maluses.
• Use Spiritwalker’s Grace and Gust of Wind to maintain uptime during Void Fall.

Defensives:

• Use Astral Shift for Lingering Darkness due to potential overlaps with Umbral Collapse.
• Use Healing Surge as needed and utilize Healing Stream Totem as a movement filler.

Utilities:

• Use Wind Rush Totem during Void Fall.
• Use Wind Shear to interrupt Pitch Bulwark from Voidbound Annihilators, Shadowguard Stalwarts or Abyssal Maluses and Black Miasma from Abyssal Maluses.
• Use Cleanse Spirit for Black Miasma from Abyssal Maluses if needed.

Additional Notes:

• If available, use Demonic Gateway to simplify repositioning when soaking Umbral Collapse on top of Abyssal Voidshapers.
